Year 2005

CSSA Chinese New Year Celebration (4-11pm Sat. Jan 28 New Year Eve)

This year UCSD CSSA, joining with SDSU CSSA and SDTHAA, will hold a New Year Celebration party at Cross Culture Center on New Year Eve. Please RSVP to Zhou Dayou(dzhou@cs.ucsd.edu) so we can have a head count (skip this if you already registered with SDSU CSSA or SDTHAA). Newcomers need a ride can also write to him.

We will have two rooms next to each other in the center. In the larger one, we will show the CCTV New Year Eve celebration program at about 7. In the smaller one, we can setup tables for poker or even majiang, you are also welcome to throw your own favorite game.

Dinner with traditional food (such as dumpling, spring roll) will be served around 6pm. Refreshment will be provided all the time.

We also plans to show a Chinese movie at 4pm. There should be some some gifts to give out. We'll keep updating when we have more details on the event.

So, mark you calendar and join us on New Year Eve, meet some friends and have fun!

For driving direction please follow this link on google map. We highly recommend you to park your car in Gilman Parking Structure, as it has plenty of parking space and is within 5 min of walk to Cross Culture Center. (Parking in weekends is free except some 'A' parking enforce 24 hours a day 7 days a week)

UCSD CSSA and SD Killer Whales Soccer team will co-host the 2005 Southern California Chinese Champions Tournament on Oct 1.

Committee Change

Misson of this CSSA Committee is finished. Yaoming Shen will be the new President and reorganize the committee. More details can be found here.
